Painting is like meditating for me, I am released from everyday concerns and the passage of time, and am allowed to heal and regenerate. I am primarily interested in human emotions through expressive portraiture and also with abstractions of paint texture and color to portray an emotion. Every now and then I paint something just because it strikes me funny, for the laugh.
